Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications (SWIFT) Money Transfer System
Transfers: The service of sending, receiving, and transferring money through Swift messages (the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications (SWIFT) or approved systems, as well as local incoming and outgoing transfers within Palestine and incoming and outgoing transfers to and from outside Palestine.
The following are necessary to Send a Transfer:
- Beneficiary's name
- Account number, or IBAN, if available in the beneficiary country.
- Beneficiary bank's Swift code
- Beneficiary bank's name
- Country
- The objective of the transfer, along with supporting documentation
To receive a transfer from outside Palestine, the receiver must have the following:
- IBAN
- Arab Islamic Bank Swift Code (AISBPS22XXX)
- Name of the consumer as it appears on the banking system
- Bank's name (ARAB ISLAMIC BANK)
If the transfer is made from Israel in Israeli shekels, the recipient must be given the following:
- The account number rather than the IBAN
- Bank No. 73
- Branch number
