Arab Islamic Bank Concludes "Pioneers in Islamic Banking" Training Program

Nablus – As part of its commitment to supporting higher education and enhancing banking knowledge among young people, the Arab Islamic Bank has successfully concluded a specialized training program titled "Pioneers in Islamic Banking." This program targeted 29 students from the Faculty of Business and Communication at An-Najah National University.

This initiative reflects the bank’s dedication to equipping students with practical knowledge and enhancing their understanding of Islamic banking concepts, ultimately developing their skills and preparing them for various economic and financial fields.

The program was implemented by the Human Resources Department at the Arab Islamic Bank in collaboration with the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Business and Communication. It lasted for 36 training hours over six sessions and covered various topics, including banking operations, Islamic banking, and essential behavioral skills needed for entering the job market.

The graduation ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of academics and bank representatives, including Dr. Raafat Al-Jallad, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Communication; Dr. Doha Al-Tanbour, Head of the Financial and Banking Sciences Department; Dr. Firas Al-Nasser, Director of the Business Department; and Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Nour, Head of the Accounting Department. From the Arab Islamic Bank, the attendees included Mr. Rateb Atiyani, Director of Human Resources; Mr. Hassan Sabri, Director of the Credit Department; and Mr. Fadi Abu Nabaa, Manager of the Nablus Branch.

In his speech, Mr. Hani Naser, General Manager of the Arab Islamic Bank, emphasized that this training program reflects the bank’s commitment to developing young talents as part of its corporate social responsibility. He highlighted the strategic partnerships with universities to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance their employability. Additionally, he expressed his appreciation for An-Najah National University’s efforts in preparing students and fostering a stimulating learning environment.

Mr. Rateb Atiyani, Director of Human Resources, stated that this program is part of a series of initiatives launched by the Arab Islamic Bank to enhance students' awareness of Islamic banking and develop their practical skills. The goal is to prepare a generation of professionals capable of advancing the Palestinian banking sector.

During the ceremony, Dr. Raafat Al-Jallad expressed his appreciation for the ongoing collaboration between the university and the Arab Islamic Bank. He commended the bank’s efforts in supporting students and training them through specialized programs. He further emphasized that the university is always keen on providing educational and practical training opportunities to prepare students for their professional careers and enhance their job market prospects.
